About Us

Founded in 2020, REA Estate Winery proudly manages two estate-grown vineyards—one in the Santa Ynez Valley and the other in Los Angeles County. Our commitment to honoring the land allows our fruit to express its unique terroir through distinct flavors and meticulous cultivation methods.

Our Los Angeles County vineyard spans 40 acres, making it the first of its size and scale in the region. Situated in Little Rock, known historically as California’s fruit basket, we utilize sustainable farming practices to nurture our vines. In the Santa Ynez Valley and Ballard Canyon, we focus on organic farming methods, ensuring that our wines reflect the true essence of their origins.

History

Inspired by the ancient winemaking traditions of the Zagros Mountains, REA Estate Winery was born from a vision of exceptional viticulture. In 2020 The Aryeh Family pronounced R-E-A, acquired River Edge Farm, a historic property in the Santa Ynez Valley, founded in 1975 by Martin and Pamela Wygod. For over three decades, this 126-acre farm was celebrated as a premier horse breeding facility, producing champion thoroughbreds.

With deep respect for the land’s heritage, the Aryeh family has breathed new life into this historic site by planting 40 acres of vineyards. Our mission is to capture the land’s essence and transform it into the exceptional wines of REA Estate Winery.
